Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Dec 1991

Emily M. Beckhorn, 93, of Ionia died Nov. 29 at the Ionia Manor.  She was born
April 10, 1898, the daughter of William and Dora Marquette Coates, in Ionia. 
She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Ionia.  She married
Frank Beckhorn on April 15, 1916; he preceded her in death in 1979.

She is survived by two sons: Robert and Kenneth, both of Ionia; two daughters,
Anita Reynolds and Mary Lewis, both of Ionia; 14 grandchildren, 31
great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in
death by two sons, Harold and Fred, one grandson, two brothers and 2 sisters.

Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
today at the Myers Memorial Chapel, 148 E. Main Street, Ionia.  Funeral services
will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Ionia, with the
Rev. James Bennett officiating.  Organist will be Dorothy Horrocks.  Interment
will be in Highland Park Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Terry Beckhorn, Tim
Beckhorn, Bob Beckhorn Jr., Mike Reynolds, Steve Reynolds and Jim Lewis. 
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
