Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Mar 1967

Mrs. Myrtie Beckwith, 81, of 3737 Kiddville road, Orleans township, died Monday
morning at United Memorial hospital in Greenville, where she had been a patient
one week.  She was born in Boston township, Ionia county, September 29, 1885, a
lifelong resident of Ionia county and member of Shiloh community church. 
October 22, 1903 she was married to Zenard Beckwith in Saranac and he preceded
her in death in 1959.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Cecil Vivian Juell of Grand Rapids; two sons,
Earl and Eston both of Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Bert Garrison of Saranac,
Mrs. Joe Leslie, Sr., of Lake Odessa; two brothers, Will Leary of Remus, Lee
Leary of Saranac; five grandchildren and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Huffman funeral home in Belding
with Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh community church officiating.  Burial will be
in Green cemetery, Orleans township.
