The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 8, 1921

Word was received this morning from Dr. E. F. Beckwith that they would arrive 
either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning with the body of their son, Prof. 
Raymond Beckwith.  The funeral will be held from the residence, 262 Union 
street, on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m.  Rev. Harry Porter, pastor of the 
Presbyterian church, will have charge of the funeral and will be assisted by 
Dr. W. K. Spencer.

Subsequent Publication:  Tuesday, January 11, 1921

The body of Raymond Beckwith arrived Monday evening from Tempe, Ariz., 
accompanied by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. F. Beckwith and his wife and 
children.  A large number of Knights Templar and many of the friends in the 
Presbyterian church were at the station to meet the family on its arrival.

The funeral will be held from the home of his parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. F. 
Beckwith, 26626 Union street, on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. Harry 
E. Porter will have charge of the service and will be assisted by Dr. W. K. 
Spencer.  Burial will be in Highland Park.
