The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 25, 1918


Rev. and Mrs. Deabler received word today of the death of Charles W. Beckwith, 
3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Beckwith of Saginaw, who formerly lived 
in Ionia.  Mr. Beckwith was employed by the P. M. railroad while residing 
here.  The little boy passed away after a severe attack of membranous croup, 
following measles, on November 16, and the funeral services were held the 
following Monday.  The many friends of the Beckwith family extend their 
sympathy and comfort to the sorrowing family.
