Services held for Mary Bedell

Mrs. Mary Bedell, 82, route 2, Tupper Lake, passed away Thursday night at the 
Osteopathic Hospital, Grand Rapids, where she was a patient about 10 days.

A native of Campbell township, she was the daughter of Isaiah and Catherine 
(Kime) Long and was a lifelong resident of the area. She married Alfred Bedell 
of Clarksville, December 1, 1907, and they moved to Lake Odessa in April, 1952. 
Mrs. Bedell was a member of the Women's Fellowship of the Congregational church, 
Tupper Lake extension group and the Clarksville Chapter, O.E.S. 

Surviving are a daughter,  Mrs. Loyd (Flossie) Curtis of Lake Odessa; a brother, 
John Long of Clarksville and a sister, Mrs. Victor (Ann) Steckle of Lansing. Mr. 
Bedell passed away Nov. 28, 1966. Funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 at 
the Pickens Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa. Rev. Vernon Beardsley and Rev. Norman 
Wibert officiated with burial in the Woodland Memorial Cemetery.
