Ionia Standard, 24 May 1889

The 6-year-old daughter of S.S. Beebee, of Otisco, died Tuesday morning about 4
o’clock of inflammation of the brain.  She was taken sick Saturday evening but
nothing serious was thought of it, and consequently medical aid was not called
in time to be of any assistance.
