Lester L. Beebe departed this life at 3 a.m. June 7, 1927.  Mr. Beebe was born
at Parma, Ohio, March 15, 1846 and came to Michigan with his parents when about
four years old.  He was married to Nancy Emery, in 1873, to this union five
children were born.  Mrs. Beebe and one son and a daughter passed on before him,
leaving to mourn their loss two sons, Walter and Robert, of Seattle, Washington
and one daughter, Blanch, of Fenwick; two brothers, three sisters and many
friends.  Mr. Beebe has been a resident of Smyrna for over 40 years.  Funeral
services were held in Smyrna, June 10, 1927, services conducted by H. E. Curch,
pastor of the church of Christ.

Card of Thanks:  We wish to thank the relatives, friends and neighbors for their
kindness and sympathy shown us during the illness and death of our dear father,
also Elder Curch for his comforting words and those who sent the beautiful
floral offerings, and all who helped in any way.  Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Beebe,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beebe and son, Frank, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Lowden.
