Death called and took away Miss Helen Beebe, aged 70 years and for many years a 
resident of this city, at the home of a sister in Greenville, on Tuesday 
morning at four o’clock.  Miss Beebe had operated a boarding house in this city 
for many years and was well liked and loved by the girls and others who made 
their homes with her.  For the past few years she has lived in rooms over the 
Home Bakery and about a week ago was taken to the home of her sister in 
Greenville, to be cared for.  

The body was brought to this city and taken to the Fitzjohn funeral home from 
where the funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock.  Burial 
will be in the Belding (old) cemetery.
