              Charles Nelson Begerow

LAKE ODESSA - Charles Nelson Begerow, age 89, of Lake Odessa, passed away 
Saturday, November 1, 1997 at his residence.

Mr.Begerow was born on May 15, 1908 in Odessa Township, the son of Charles and 
Mary(Bell)Begerow.

He attended Beard Rural School and Lake Odessa High School.He married Dorotha 
Shellman on September 1, 1932 in Six Lakes.

Mr.Begerow lived and farmed in the Lake Odessa area all his life.He attended the 
United Brethren and the Faith Bible Churches.

Mr.Begerow was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Harold, three sisters, 
Jenny Brock, Cora Knapp Brovont and Bertha Allen; two brothers, Frederick and 
James Begerow; three grandchildren, James Begerow, Jill Begerow and Vernon 
Begerow.

Mr.Begerow is survived by his wife, Dorotha; one son, Charles(Linda) Begerow of 
Lake Odessa; five grandchildren, Noel Begerow of Lake Odessa, Cheryl (Steven) 
Eaton of Hastings, Andrew (Jean) Begerow of Arizona, Suzan(Lonnie) Miller of 
Bellevue, Julie(Calvin) Deatsman of Lake Odessa; 15 great-grandchildren and 
three great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Della Shellman of Lake 
Odessa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 1997 at 1:00 p.m. at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa.

Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakewood Community Ambulance.
