Lake Odessa Wave
     RUTH M BEHLER
   LAKE ODESSA --Ruth M. Behler, 89, of 5482 Alden Nash S.E., Lowell, formerly of
Lake Odessa, died Friday, Aug. 24, in Lowell Medical Facility where she had been a patient 
for six months.
   Born Sept. 23, 1894, in Lowell she was the daughter of Edward and Rose Kinyon
Kiel.  She attended Lowell area schools and graduated from South Bend High School in 1912.
   She was married to Allen Behler Feb. 13 1912. He preceded her in death Aug.1,
1977
   She was a member of Lake Odessa's Central United Methodist Church.
   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Willis (Arlene) Hatch of Lowell; a
daughter-in-law, Virginia Behler of Alva Fla; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren;  
a brother, Edward Kiel of Lowell; and a sister, Gladys Dunn of Portland.
   Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Pickens Koops Funeral
Chapel, Lake Odessa, with the Rev. Therion Meredith officiating.  Burial will be in Lakeside 
Cemetery.
   A memorial has been established for Central United Methodist Church of Lake
Odessa.
