CARL W. BEHNKE
Died Tuesday August 4, 1998-age 94
Born October 21, 1903 in Grand Rapids,MI
Son of Frank C. and Deli (Welmers) Behnke
Carl married Elsie Weidenfeller on January 14, 1924 & she preceded him in death.
Survived by one son Robert Carl (Shirley) Behnke of IN, daughters:M.Elaine 
(Martin) Johnson of Lake Odessa and Marjorie A.(Roy) Benson of Lake Odessa, 10 
grandchildren,4 step-grandchildren,32 great-grandchildren,3 great-great-
grandchildren, 1 niece & 2 nephews.
Preceded in death by his brother, Alvin Behnke and sister, Hazel Engel.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday at St.Edward Catholic Church, Lake 
Odessa with Fr. Tom Boufford celebrating with interment in Lakeside cemetery.
Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 at the church. Rosary will be prayed Thursday 
evening at 7:30 PM at the Church.
Memorials may be made to St.Edwards Building Fund.
