The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, March 18, 1949


Paul M. Behrendt, 90, died at the home of his niece, Mrs. Lawrence Quigley, of 
Ionia township Friday morning.  He was born September 2, 1858, in Germany.  He 
came here when a young man.  His wife died in 1929 and eight years ago he came 
to Ionia from Detroit to make his home with his niece.

His sole survivors are nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Myers 
funeral home.  The Rev. George L. Rentschler will officiate.  Interment will 
be in Easton cemetery.
