James E. “Jamey” Beimers Jr., 33, of Portland passed away Sat., Nov. 9, 2002.  
He was born on Aug. 3, 1969, in Grand Rapids, the son of James, Sr. and Georgia 
(Brown) Beimers.  Jamey loved and enjoyed his children very much.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Henry and Wilhemina Beimers.  
Surviving are two sons, Corey and Kiefer Beimers; a daughter, Maddalynn 
Beimers; mother, Georgia (Doug) Hamp; father, James E. Beimers Sr.; sister, 
Mindy Beimers; brother, Matt Beimers; nieces, Courtney and Jaylee Pratt; 
grandparents, Roy and Leona Brown; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Marilyn V. Danielson, Pastor, First 
Congregational Church of Portland at 1 p.m., Wednesday at the Schrauben-Lehman 
Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland,  The family will receive friends 
from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.  
Interment will be in Portland Cemetery.  For those wishing, memorial 
contributions may be made to the family.
