Funeral services for Lothard N. Bekke of 1171 Yeomans street who died Saturday,
September 8 were conducted Thursday afternoon, September 13 at 2 o’clock at the
Stone-Kauffman funeral home with the Rev. Albert A. Trember of Stanton
officiating.  Interment will be held later at Vinewood cemetery near Edmore in
Montcalm county.  Bearers will be Phlara Messer, Dr. R.L. Kemp, Lester Chase,
Frank Eisler, Howard Frechen and Fred O’Connor.

Out of town relatives attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Braman of
Big Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. William Bekke and Twylah of Sidney, Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Baker of Traverse City, Mrs. Olga Ely and daughter, Marcia of Ludington, Charles
Saxton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Terrell, Mr. and Mrs. Einer Thorbald of Greenville
and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Sterling of Lansing.  Many other relatives and friends
were present from Stanton, Sidney, Greenville, Fowler, Lowell, Westphalia,
Pewamo, Big Rapids, Lansing and Grand Rapids.
