Helen (Gann) Belcher age 83 from Saranac, passed away January 27, 2014 in Grand 
Rapids.  She was born August 16, 1930 in Buckhoults, Texas the daughter of 
David and Lila (Cosby) Gann.  Helen married Edward Belcher Jr. on August 23, 
1951 in Texas. 

Helen is survived by her brother, David (Joyce) Lane Gann of Texas; sisters, 
Kathleen Jurca of Texas and Thelma Groppell of Texas; several nieces, nephews, 
and great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward 
Belcher Jr. in 2012, parents, and 3 brothers. 

Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Lake Funeral Home 
in Saranac with Pastor Becky Poor officiating.  Donations may be made in 
Helen’s name to Spectrum Hospice.
