Belding Banner-News, 21 Jul 1955

Mrs. Elva Belding, age 65 years, of 145 Sweet street, Grand Rapids, passed away
Thursday, July 21st, at her home.  She had been a resident of that city 27
years.  Previous to that time she had lived in this city.  The deceased was born
September 23, 1889, at Cooks Corners, the daughter of Chancey and Althea
Hubbard, pioneer residents of that community.

She is survived by her husband, Frank, of Grand Rapids, one sister, Mrs. Katie
Reeves and one brother, Frank Hubbard, both of this city.

The body reposed at the family residence in Grand Rapids until Saturday morning,
when it was brought to the Fitzjohn Funeral home.  Funeral services were held at
2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon with Rev. Wilbur Kirby officiating.  Burial was
in Otisco cemetery.
