Ionia Sentinel Standard, 26 Jun 1975

William W. Bell, 85, of Anaheim, Cal., died June 16.  Mr. Bell retired from
Ionia State Hospital at Ionia in 1959.  He has been a resident of Anaheim for
over 18 years.

He is survived by his wife, Leona; his son and daughter-in-law, William A. and
Mavis Bell of Milan, Mi.; his daughter and son-in-law, Marie R. and Alvin B.
Smith of Anaheim; three grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Mr. Bell was a member of World War I Veterans Barracks No. 1208 of Garden Grove,
Cal. and was also a member of the church of Lawsonian Religion of Long Beach, Cal.

William and Leona Bell were employed at the Ionia State Hospital as ward
supervisors until they both retired in 1959.  They resided on Grand Street in
Ionia until they retired.

Funeral services have been performed by the Neptune Society of California.
