The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, February 2, 1956

Mrs. Bertha Bell, 34, died Thursday morning at 12:30 at Manitou Springs, 
Colo.  She had been ill for three months.

She was born in Lowell in June of 1921, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry 
Holland, and was married in Lowell to Willard Bell.  The family lived in Ionia 
at one time and about six years ago moved to Colorado.

Surviving are her husband, Willard; one son, Richard at home; her father, 
Harry Holland of Wauchula, Fla.; two brothers, Roy Holland of Laurel, Miss., 
Lee Holland of Ionia; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Walsh and Mrs. Rex 
Caughennowes of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Harry Shaler of Lowell.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete Thursday afternoon.
