Bell, 47, will be Tuesday at 1 pm at the Leddick funeral home. Myron Zumsteg of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate and interment will be at Clear Lake cemetery near Sheridan. Mr. Bell of 2840 East Riverside drive died Saturday morning at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids following an extended illness. Born at Trout Creek September 28, 1927, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bell. He attended school at Trout Creek and moved to the Ionia area in 1940. He entered the service of World War II with the navy and following discharge was married to Waneta Burns at Angola, Ind., February 19, 1955. He made his home in the Ionia area since and was employed at Ionia Manufacturing Company. He went into the well drilling business 11 years ago. Surviving besides the wife, Waneta are three sons, David of Lansing and Michael and Mitchell, both at home; five daughters, Mrs. Mickie Nummer of Ionia, Beverly , Becky, Judy and Waneta, all at home; three grandchildren; five brothers, Floyd of Lansing, Orville of Trout Creek, Clarence of Newberry, Frank of Wayland and John of Ionia; four sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Reyburn and Mrs. Bessie Deane both of Lowell, Mrs. Jean Green of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Hazel Ross of Wayland. The family members will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 pm.
