The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, May 9, 1959

Mrs. Lucia M. Bellamy, 83, 221 North Jackson street, died Saturday morning at 
9:30 o’clock.  Mrs. Bellamy was born July 31, 1875 in Eaton township and had 
been a lifelong resident of Ionia county.

She was one of the oldest members of the First Presbyterian church and also of 
the Business and Professional Women’s club and a member of the Women’s 
Literary club.

Mrs. Bellamy is survived only by seven cousins, Mrs. Alma Hawk of Middleville, 
Mrs. Betty Herald of Ionia, Mrs. Joyce Kime of Clarksville, Mrs. Mary Ann 
Everett of Vermontville, Horace Buche and Orvan Buche of Lake Odessa and Mrs. 
Ruth Wagner of Detroit.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian church 
with the Rev. Wilfred G. Sawyier officiating.  Burial will be in Highland Park 
cemetery.  The body of Mrs. Bellamy will be at Myers funeral home until time 
of the service.
