The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, November 2, 1931

Alice Bellamy, 82 years of age, and a pioneer of Ionia county died about 2 
o’clock Sunday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Horace Rowley, 314 Morse 
street.  She was born in Grattan township, Kent county, but came when a child 
to Easton, where her father conducted the Bellamy mill four miles west of the 
city, one of the vicinity’s pioneer mills.  She is survived by Miss Lucia 
Bellamy, Mrs. Horace Rowley, and Miss Frances A. Bellamy.

Funeral services will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rowley Wednesday 
afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by Dr. Paul L. Stewart.  Interment will be 
in Highland park.
