She was one of the oldest pioneers of Easton township. The Bellamy Mills were built and operated by her father, Edward S. Bellamy, were a familiar landmark for many years, and the residence as it now stands was completed by her father in 1869. Frances Adaline Bellamy was born near Akron, Ohio, December 21, 1845, and had she lived until December 21 would have completed her ninetieth year. She was the daughter of Edward S. and Armena Brown Bellamy. Almost her entire life was passed in this locality as she came here with her parents in 1854. In her earlier years she was active in Grange work but for the last twenty years she had lived quietly in the heart of her family, a good neighbor, a loyal friend, and a patient sufferer to the end. When the call came she answered with a smile and passed away as quietly and beautifully as she had lived. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Horace Rowley, a niece, Mrs. Orvin Buche and Miss Lucia Bellamy, with whom she made her home. Funeral services were held from the residence Monday afternoon at two o’clock with Rev. Herbert A. Simpson, of the Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial was at the family lot in Highland Park. Bearers were : Bert North, Elmer Cowan, Harry Curtis, Del Meyers, Walker Brown and Donald Henry, of Deckerville. Friends and relatives in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Henry, of Deckerville, Mich.; Mrs. Elfa Munis, member of the board of directors of the Gleaners, Detroit; Mrs. Harvey Jewell, Croswell, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
