Beltz, 77, of Belding, died unexpectedly early Friday evening, Oct. 16, 2009, at the emergency room of Spectrum Health United Hospital in Greenville. Jack was born Jan. 3, 1932, in Jackson, the son of John and Ruth Wagner Beltz. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Greenville West. Jack had a lot of fun and enjoyment for many years with building and flying model airplanes. He was a past member of the Aerobats. He liked to hunt and fish and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all. Jack was married on Aug. 24, 1952, in Battle Creek to Joan Beltz and she survives along with their children, Beverly Morse and Craig McCurry of Sheridan, Julie and Steve Kent of Fenwick, Pamela and Norman Casey of Sheridan, Jack Beltz and Deb Alman of Greenville; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A time of private fellowship will be held at the home of his daughter Julie. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alvah N. Belding Library or the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Greenville West. Cremation services were entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
