Ionia Sentinel Standard, 24 Feb 1931

Mrs. Jennie Bement died at the home of her son, Floyd, near Kalamazoo last week
of heart disease.  Mrs. Bement formerly lived on the State road and had been a
resident of Ionia and vicinity 20 years prior to going to Kalamazoo to be cared
for at the home of her son.  Her sister, Mrs. Emma Schield, attended the funeral
services and has returned home.
