Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 2 Oct 1944

Mrs. Alice Bemrose, 58, widow of William Bemrose of Orleans, died Sunday night 
at the Ionia County Memorial hospital where she had been a patient for several 
weeks.  She had been in poor health a number of years.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Zelda Ort of Orleans; a son, Vern Fuller, in 
overseas duty with the army; four stepsons, Lewis Yost and Boyd Yost of Remus 
and Clifton Yost of Lapeer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Bradley 
funeral home.  The Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of First Baptist church, will 
officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Orleans cemetery.
