Portland Review and Observer - Sept. 30, 2012

SUNFIELD Steven D. Benbow age 63, died unexpectedly Monday morning, September 
24, 2012 at his home. Steve was born June 4, 1949 in Lansing, a son of Robert 
N. and Joyce A. (Eberly) Benbow. He was a graduate of Portland High School and 
was a clerk at Builder's Lumber in Portland. He was preceded in death by his 
father, Robert, and two brothers, Randy and Mark "Buddy".

Surviving are his son, Robert Benbow of Traverse City; his daughter, Wendy Jo 
Benbow of Hudson, CO; his mother, Joyce Martin of Sunfield; two sisters, Diane 
(Dar) Benjamin of Sunfield and Deb Butler of Lansing; tow brothers, Michael 
(Beverly) Benbow of Sunfield and Bruce (Cathy) Benbow of Prescott, AZ; sister-
in-law, Katie Benbow of Lyons; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and 
cousins

Services were held Friday at Barker-Leik Funeral Home, Mulliken, with Pastor 
Roy Atherton and Pastor Randy Carpenter officiating.
