Sentinel Standard – Tuesday, 25 April 1922

Jacob Benedict, Lyons township pioneer, died Saturday, aged nearly 90 years.  
Funeral will be held Tuesday and burial at Portland.  One son, Lee M. 
Benedict, survives her.
