Ionia Daily Sentinel, 8 Feb 1981

Elizabeth Benedict, 73, of 3415 Northlake Drive, Grand Rapids, formerly of
Ionia, died Thursday in Grand Rapids.  She was born April 23, 1907, the daughter
of Chris and Margaret Beck.  She lived most of her life in the Grand Rapids area.

Survivors include one brother, Phillip Beck of Holt; two sisters, Helen Rowley
of Belmont and Marguerite Musser of St. Joseph; and one granddaughter, Pamela
Schanski of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Myers-Roetman Funeral
Home.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Sunday
from 2 to 5 p.m.  Burial will be in Balcom Cemetery.
