Karoline Benedict, aged 80, of Saranac, passed away Jan. 19, 2009.  She was 
born Feb. 17, 1928 in Gross Ponte, Mich., the daughter of Joseph and Pelagia 
Biernacki.  She married Roger Benedict, Nov. 27, 1999 at LeValley Church.

Karoline is survived by her stepdaughter Heather Marie (Mike) Hull of Oxford; 
grandchildren, Haley and Christa Hull of Oxford; step grandson, Mike Hull of 
Chicago; brother, Roy Biernacki of Clinton Township sisters, Eleanor Carey of 
Livonia and Adrienne (Harold) Klumpp of Arlington Hgts., Ill., and several 
nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brother and 3 
sisters.

Memorial services will be held Saturday 12 p.m. March 21 at St. Edwards 
Catholic Church with Father Phil Shangraw and Rev. Dr. Jack Brown 
officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives Saturday 11:00 
a.m. until time of service at the church.  In lieu of flowers you may make 
memorial contributions to St. Edwards Catholic Church.  Arrangements by Lake 
Funeral Home in Saranac.
