The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, March 2, 2000

Percilla Benedict, 55, of Zeeland, formerly of Ionia, died Feb. 29, 2000.  She 
was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Hopkins and her parents, R.D. and 
Josephine Hopkins. 

She is survived by her daughter, Nichole Benedict Van Wieren and Stephen 
Harkema of Zeeland; grandchildren, Tiffany Harkema and Brett Van Wieren, both 
at home; brothers, Larry and Doris Hopkins of Ionia and Dan and Mary Lou 
Hopkins of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2000 at the Shiloh 
Community Church, Orleans, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Visiting 
hours will be one hour prior to the service at Shiloh Church.  Burial will be 
in Easton Cemetery.  Arrangements are by the Yntema Funeral Home, Zeeland.
