                               Beulah Lucille Benedict

NOVI,MI,-Beulah Lucille Benedict, age 101, formerly of Greenville, died Thursday 
October 7, 2010 at Grand Court Assisted living in Novi.

She was born August 1, 1909 in Clarksville, the daughter of Herbert and Vera 
A.Strong Geiger.

Beulah was a graduate of Lake Odessa High School and was a member of the First 
Congregational Church in Greenville.

She worked many years at the former Alma's Ready-to-Wear and J.C.Penny's stores 
in Greenville.

She married Emery T.Benedict in 1929 and he passed away in 1992.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Sharpe of Keego Harbor; her grandsons, 
Steven Sharpe of Milford, Timothy Sharpe of Chesterfield Townships and David and 
Melody Sharpe of Milford; five great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her 
brothers, Dean andKatherine Geiger and James and Betty Geiger of Clarksville.

Besides her husband, her brothers, Dale and Vaughn also preceded her in death.

Memorial services were held Monday October 11, 2010 at Hurst Fuenral Home with 
Rev. Dr.Jerrold T.Jones officiating. Burial was in Clarksville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Congregational Church Parish Nurse 
program.
