        GEORGE ANDREW BENEDICT

LYONS - George Andrew Benedict, 81, of 5056 east Riverside Drive, Lyons, died 
Friday inIonia County Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 29, 1903, in Ronald Township, he was the son of Earl & Grace Townsend 
Benedict. He attended Muir High School & was married to Lena Pung in June 1929.

He retired from the Chrysler Trim Plant n1971 & had lived for the past 54 years 
at his residence.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Laura Spohn of Portland; five 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Emery Benedict of Greenville 
& two sisters, Greta Weller of Englewood, Fla., & Verla Adgate of Lakeland, Fla.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. from the Lyons United Methodist 
church, with the Rev.Bettie Dobie officiating. Burial will be in Balcom 
Cemetery.

Arrangements have been made by Hull Memorial Chapel.
