The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 8, 1962
Albert Benedict, 51, died at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday following a heart attack at 
his home.  He was born in Muir October 9, 1910, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl 
Benedict, and had lived in that area all his life.  For several years he was 
employed at H. E. Hendrickson Plumbing and Heating company.

Surviving are his wife, the former Jane Steadman, to whom he was married 
December 31, 1937; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry Fell of Grand Ledge, and Sue 
Ellen Benedict of Chicago; one son, Alan at home; one grandchild; two sisters, 
Mrs. Verla Adgate of Ionia, and Mrs. Greta Weller of St. Johns; and two 
brothers, Emory Benedict of Greenville, and George Benedict of Lyons.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Shaw-Rivett funeral home.  
Burial will be at Lyons cemetery.
