The Ionia Sentinel, Tuesday, January 2, 1968
A one time Lyons resident, Roy L. Benge, 75, died Saturday morning in a 
Lansing hospital.  He was married in Lyons to Kate McSherry and moved to 
Lansing about 40 years ago.  He was an employee of Consumers Power company, 
member of Presbyterian church of Lansing and Lyons Lodge F & AM.  After the 
death of his first wife he remarried and his wife Nell survives; also a son, 
Harold of Lansing, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nancy McKinley of Grand Rapids, and 
six grandchildren.  Service was Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman 
funeral home in Lansing.  Burial was in Deep Dale cemetery.
