Y. and died at the home of his son at Mecosta on Thursday, aged 74 years, 5 months and 1 day. He came to Michigan with his parents at the age of six months. He married Miss S---- M. Furnace of Berlin on the 4th day of April 1865, at Saranac. He leaves to mourn his death besides his widow, seven children, Mrs. Harvey Train of Lansing, Mich., John C., Frank II, and Fred H. of Saranac, Mrs. Will Whitby and Ben S. of Mecosta and George Septa of Sears. A brother, Harvey L. Benjamin of Ma-----, Iowa and to half brothers, Norman S. and Lewis J. Foster of Saranac. Fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also other relatives and many friends. He was brought home and the funeral held from the house at _ o'clock on Saturday June 17, conducted by Rev. E. Mellot.
