Ionia Standard, 25 Mar 1892

Florence J., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jno. S. Bennett, died at the home of her 
parents, in this village, March 15th, aged 26 years, 6 months and 6 days.  The 
deceased was born in Ionia, and resided there until six years ago, when Mr. 
Bennett and family came to Portland.  Her many lovable qualities endeared her to 
all who knew her.  Since June, 1891, she has been a sufferer from consumption, 
and went down into the valley of the shadow of death in that patient and resigned 
manner which so becomes the true Christian.  The funeral services were conducted 
at the Universalist church last Friday afternoon by Rev. Goodell.
