Ionia Sentinel Standard, 12 Jul 1969

Richard L. Bennett, 72, of Marion, died Friday at Mercy hospital, Cadillac.  He 
was born June 28, 1897 and lived in Ionia until 1963 where he had been employed 
at Ionia Armory and Ionia county memorial hospital as a maintenance engineer.  
A veteran of World War I he was married to Dorothy Lindsley, June 15, 1925.

He is survived by wife, Dorothy of Marion; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Spangler of 
Marion and one brother Ralph Bennett of Ionia.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Fosnaught funeral home in Marion.  
Burial will be in Lyons cemetery.
