The Ionia Daily Standard, Tuesday, July 2, 1901

John D. Bennett of Orleans was laid to rest on Tuesday.  He died at the ripe 
age of 81 years.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card: Bennett, John 
Dennis, b. 1820 Otsego Co., NY; married 1848 Royalton Center, Niagara Co, NY to 
Caroline E. Skutt.  Survivors: sons Fred and Burt B. of Orleans, dau. Minnie 
Vaughn of Stanton.]
