The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 10, 1922

Mrs. Roy Bennett, of Orleans, township, died suddenly this morning at her 
home.  Mrs. Bennett leaves besides her husband, one child a few hours old.  
Mrs. Bennett was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Yeomans, of Ionia.

The funeral for Mrs. Roy Bennett, one of the largest held in Orleans township 
in many months, was held at the family residence Wednesday afternoon at 3 
o’clock.  Rev. E. E. Branch conducted the service.  The bearers were John 
Durfee, Gus Gott, Frank Judevine, Burns Judevine, Morris Yeomans, and Leigh 
Snow.  Burial took place in the family lot at Woodard Lake cemetery.  Many 
friends gathered at the cemetery as well as at the home to pay their last 
respects to the young lady, who was very popular throughout the county.
