Clarence J. Bennett, 74, of Center STreet, Palo, died August 5, at Carson 
City Hospital. 

He was born Jun. 11, 1910 in Bushnell Township in Montcalm Couty, the son of 
Fred and Lillian Bennett.

He attended Lyons Public Schools.

He married Wreatha Mason, who preceded him in death in 1975.

He was a retired welder with Purdock Corp. in Ada.

He was a member of the Pearl Lake Masonic Lodge and the Palo Oddfellows 
Lodge. He is survived by three sons; two daughters; 24 grandchildren and 17 
great grandchildren.

Three brothers, two sisters and one son preceded him in death.

Masonic services will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. 

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Lyons United Methodist 
Church with the Rev. Bette Dobbie officiating.

Burial will be in Palo cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the Palo Boy Scout Troop through the 
funeral home.
