Nov. 5, 1975 Services for Mrs. Wreatha Irene Bennett, 64, of Center, Palo, will be Friday at 2 pm at the Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir. Rev. Lawrence Taylor of the Butternut Bible church will officiate and interment will be at the Palo cemetery. Mrs. Bennett, died Tuesday morning at the Sheridan Community hospital following an extended illness. Born in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, she was the daughter of Ford and Gertrude Vickery Mason. She attended a rural school and Muir public school. January 30, 1931, she was married in Lyons to Clarence Bennett, who survives. She was employed at the AC Spark Plug division of General Motors in Ionia during World War II and the Fisher Body in Lansing. She was employed last in the catalog order department of Amway company at Ada, retiring in 1971. She was a member of the Butternut Bible church. Besides her husband Clarence, she leaves four sons, Jack Bennett, of Ionia, Jerry of Lyons, Lawrence of Great Falls, Mont., and Mitchell of Lyons; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Dennis of Ionia and Mrs. Virginia Snyder of Muir, 24 grand children and two great grandchildren; three brothers, Don Mason of Hubbardston, Ford Mason of Ionia and Louis Mason of Muir, a sister, Mrs. Reva McGee of Ionia.
