Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thurs. Dec. 13, 1928

Dennis Bennett, 60, died at the county  home Wednesday evening after an illness 
that has extended over a period of several years. Mr. Bennett, a native of 
Berlin has lived in that community all his life. He lived alone on his farm but 
when he became ill was taken to the county home to be cared for. He leaves a 
sister, Mrs. Amy Harwood of Berlin, and a brother Orley Bennett, of Ft. Smith, 
Ark. Also three nieces and 3 nephews. Arrangements were being made to hold the 
funeral Friday but these are still incomplete. The burial will be in the Balcom 
cemetery.
