Sentinel-Standard - Friday, June 2, 1978

IONIA- Military services for John E. Bennett were Thursday afternoon at the 
Myers-Roetman funeral home with pastor Paul E. Parlow, chaplain of the Ionia 
County National Guard officiating.

Members of the honor guard, flag bearers and pallbearers were members of the 
Ionia County National guard.

Bugler was Tom Brill.

Burial was in Balcom cemetery.

following graveside services, luncheon was prepared and served at the Lake 
home on Mill street.
