   THE IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MICH.; August 26, 1926, front page:  "Mrs. Anna
Bennett Is Dead at Home Of Niece in Ionia - Mrs. Anna Bennett, 66, well-known
resident of Ionia county, passed away at the home of her niece, Mrs. Anna
Faulkner, 414 Division street, Thursday morning following a short illness. 
Death was caused by a stroke.
   Mrs. Bennett was a resident of Berlin township until the death of her
husband, Niles Bennett, five years ago.  She is survived by one son, Almond
Bennett, of Traverse City; a sister, Mrs. Barbara Bennett, of Ionia; two
brothers, Jacob Myers, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Fred J. Meyers of Tonawanda, N.Y. 
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. Faulkner Saturday
afternoon at 2:30.  Burial will take place in the Balcom cemetery."
