Ionia County News 5/2/1939
   IONIA COUNTY NEWS, 5-2-1939:  "Miss Alvina M. Bennett died at the home of her
sister, Mrs. Anna Faulkner, 414 Division Street at 8:25 Monday evening, May 1. 
She was 64 years of age and had been ill since last December, returning home in
April from the University hospital, Ann Arbor, where she received treatment for
about 6 weeks.
   Surviving relatives besides Mrs. Faulkner are 2 brothers, Albert of Ionia,
and Atwood, of Alden, NY.
   Funeral services will be from Myers Funeral Home at 2:00 Thursday afternoon.
 Burial at Balcom cemetery."
