   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL STANDARD, 2-25-1939, Deaths:  "BARBARA E. BENNETT -
Barbara Eileen Bennett, 18 years of age, died at the home of her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Albert Bennett, 456 Lafayette street, Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock.
   Barbara was born in Ionia, March 7, 1918, and since the age of five years has
lived with her aunt, Mrs. Anne Faulkner, 414 Division street.  She was graduated
from Ionia high school in June, 1936, and since September has been attending
Western State Teachers' college in Kalamazoo.  She is survived by her parents,
two brothers, Theodore, 14, and Herbert, 11; and one sister, Patty, one and
one-half years old.
   There will be a prayer service for the immediate family at the Presbyterian
church at 11 o'clock Saturday morning.  The remains will repose at the church
from one o'clock until time for the funeral at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. 
Interment will be at the family lot at Balcom cemetery."

   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, March 1, 1937, Deaths:  "BARBARA E. BENNETT -
Funeral services for Barbara E. Bennett were held Saturday afternoon at 2
o'clock from the Presbyterian church with Rev. A. J. Westmaas officiating. 
During the service there was music by Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs. Ray Colwell,
with Mary Margaret Howard at the organ.  Flower girls were Betty Coy, Gertrude
Pearch, Vera Jackson and Ruth Helmes.
   Bearers were Miles Bennett, Seigel Bennett, Harold Bennett and George
Bennett. Interment was in the family lot in Balcom cemetery."
