WILLIAM H. BENNETT
William H. Bennett, 82, of Muir, died Sunday morning at 7 o'clock. He was the 
son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bennett and came to Muir at the age of four. He 
attended school in Palo and Ronald township.

Mr. Bennett was married February 23, 1898 to the former Lulu Mosher of Ronald 
township and they moved from Palo to Lyons and later, to Muir A life member 
and past master of Lyons lodge F & AM, he was also a life member of Evergreen 
chapter OES, Lyons.

Surviving are his wife, Lulu, one son, Joseph of Lansing; two daughters, 
Mrs.Floyd Waters of Lansing, Mrs. Stephen W. Kimball of Lyons, eight 
grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Muir 
Presbyterian church with the Rev. Lewis Herrick officiation. Members of Lyons 
lodge F&AM will attend in a body. Burial will be in the Muir cemetery. the 
body is at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in Muir.
