Ionia County News - Thursday, Nov. 25, 1965

Charlie Bennett of Keefer highway, Lyons, died at his home Tuesday night at 
the age of 76. He was born September 10, 1889 in Ohio, the son of Mr. and 
Mrs. George Bennett, and was a painter by trade.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cassie Noggle and a son, Duane Bennett, both 
of Muskegon; a brother, Henry Bonoite of Lyons; three sisters, Mrs. Ida 
Tupper and Mrs. Mary Churchill of Carson City and Mrs. Ella Dick of Lyons; 
14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at Myers funeral home Friday at 3 p.m. with burial 
at Tuttle cemetery.
