Ionia Sentinel Standard-March, 1959

Albert D. Bennett
Funeral service was held Monday at Myers funeral home for Albert D. Bennett, 
74, of Ionia, who died Friday morning at Ionia County Memorial hospital.

Bearers were Arthur Matthews, Clyde Ferman, Perry helms, Hubert Whorley, Roy 
Hart and Ben Brown. The Rev. Leonard McMillan conducted the service and 
burial was in Balcom cemetery.

Attending from out of town were Cleo Crane ad Mrs. Verna Bennett of Flint, 
Mrs Jessie Crane, Mrs Ida Crane, Mrs Clara Doan, Mrs Nellie Harris of Owosso; 
Mrs Bettie Howard and Mrs Joan Melchert of Miami, FLa., Mrs Leo Ristley and 
family of Orleans; Arthur Matthews of Saranac, James Bennett and family of 
Lyons; Mr and Mrs Fred Bennett, Bennie Brown and Mr and Mrs Roy Hart of 
Battle creek; Helen Hendricks of Matherton, Erford Bennett of Marion and Mr 
and Mrs Henry Bennett of Muir.
