Mrs. Lucile Bennett, 53, of Kimball road, Lyons, died suddenly at her 
residence early Thursday morning after suffering a heart attack, according to 
Coroner Richard Hull of Muir.  She was born February 28, 1918 in Danby 
township the daughter of John and Elizabeth Raglin.  She was married to Ray 
Bennett July of 1937 and has resided in Lyons since that time.  She was active 
in Girl Scout work and 4H sewing groups.

Surviving are her husband, Ray; two sons, James Bennett of Lyons and Charles 
Bennett of Portland; four daughters, Mrs. Louis Lemke of Muir, Mrs. James 
Shattuck of Ionia, Karen and Vicki at home; 12 grandchildren; one brother, 
Richard Raglin of Lyons; one sister, Mrs. Rudy Wittenbach of Centreville.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lyons United Methodist church 
with Rev. Wayne Sparks officiating.  Interment will be at Lyons cemetery.  
Until noon Sunday Mrs. Bennett will be at Shaw-Rivett-Hull funeral home in 
Muir.
